UGGly
Ok, I have ALWAYS hated Uggs. Ever since I saw Carmen Diaz sportin them. Even when I saw Sarah Jessica sportin them in pink on Sex and The City. They're just fUGGly.
However now that I'm pregnant and it's winter and I'm refusing to buy thicker maternity pants I want warm boots. Having to buy new clothes is expensive. I had to buy new shirts, new pants, a new coat. I even had to buy summer clothes cause of my vacation that I took during my 6th month. I just refuse to buy anymore clothes. I look at these girls on the subway with all these eskimo looking shoes on and I gotta say, they look DAMN ASS warm. I'm like cold and just staring at my Nike's, and then staring at their boots, and then staring back at my Nike's, and then staring at their boots....So I want a pair now. I still think they're ugly but if they keep my legs warm I don't give a shit. I used to ONLY wear heels. After my first day of working in the big apple I was like OH HELLLLZZ NO! After that it was flats and sneakers all the way.
After 2 months of searching I finally ordered the ones I wanted. They were on back order everywhere. I cannot wait to wear your fugly ass! I waiting for you!

hahaha, i used to feel the same way as you. and then, i got a pair. i love them sooo much now. eugy and i want to meet up one day soon. but, i'm super sick with the flu right now. not good for you and your baby. =( but maybe sometime soon yeah?? i wanna see your big belly and molest you too, even though we're total strangers. maybe i'll let you even rub my ddongbae. muhahaha.

dude, those are ugly. i actually bought a pair of northface boots for like $70. those things are COMFORTABLE and more practical and are ideal for snow (not suede, but a water resistant fabric). I just don't understand spending all that money on ugly ass uggs to make a fashion statement when they're ugly. With that said, enjoy your uggs!
my sister ordered my uggs a 1/2 size smaller. i wear 7 1/2 and she got me size 7s. but they're kinda big. so def go smaller. when i'm not germ infested i'll let you know. eugy's the busy one. so we'll let you know ok? she's excited.

oh man, uggs are so awesome...they're ugly yes but when you put those suckers on and walk around in the cold, you are going to feel so grateful for em'...they're super light, and keep your feet super warm and dry!
haha i know what you mean. i talk mad shit about uggs, but i secretly put on my sister's pair at home and they are so warm and comfy! it's just too bad they're so damn ugly...
i was totally anti-uggs for the longest time too, but i finally caved a few years ago after trying on a pair...they are so comfortable & warm!
i agree they are not my style either... but now they are b/c they are soooo comfortable!!! i had to get them when i moved from CA to NYC during the dead of winter three years ago. and now i have two pairs.... next, i want to get some ugg slippers to wear at home! you will love how your feet mold into them after a while....
to keep extra warm in this last month of pregnancy, i bought some maternity tights and leggings to wear under jeans!! they were about $10 each.
if i see you wearing them, i will make fun of you relentlessly.
I love my uggs, if only for the warmth. Be warned though, they don't fit snugly so walking in them at first takes a bit of getting used to.

i should have read it again -- i thought you said my boots were $70. i was like, no way, they're $70! (and as warm).
yeah my bf got me house boots that are in the Ugg style and they are sooo warm!
i really thought they were ugly for a LONG time too! but last year, the weather was ridiculously cold in chicago and i searched all over and they were nowhere to be found! so this year, i bought them in september! just to avoid having to wait and track them down. they are still fuggly to me!!! BUT, they are SO WARM and SO COMFORTABLE! enjoy them!
I couldn't resist anymore and got them for Christmas and now i'm like, "Why didn't I buy them sooner" oh yeah - they're uggly but so comfy..

you will love your uggs ~ i promise! soon, you can be the one to give pity looks to the other girls wearing their nikes and heels in the cold cold weather.

I feel the same way about uggs... and haven't made it so far as to get my own yet.
i used to hate them too! actually, i still do~
but this winter has been brutal... and UGG's decided to make a few that aren't AS fUGGly...
but HOT DAMN, they are really warm.. =)
josie has fake uggs from Target...we call them her fuggs.
I have to agree with you....soooooooooooo fugly its not even funny! And no matter what, please don't take a zillion pictures of them and post them on here so that all of us have to suffer!!! Haha.
Fuggs are so Ugly, but so comfortable. How can something so wrong feel so right? I really despise them though, I invested in their parent company (Deckers, Inc) and lost a bunch of money. That doesnt mean they arent the most comfortable "shoe" (loose term) ever...like walking on a cloud of sheep
All in all, a great buy.

how far are you susan? i always thought the same about uggs BUT i got a pair for xmas last year and i've literally wore them everyday since. they are warm fuzzy and SO comfy. i dun care if they are ugly haha
i've been wanting uggs forever!! it seems like everyone and their momma are wearing them...even here in the california winter! i couldn't find them anywhere though...
